Here we have a vintage 1930s Dobro resonator guitar for sale! This Dobro has a round neck (somewhat V-shaped, but still very comfortable to play), F holes, and a solid peghead with black "3 on a side" tuners. The body shows typical wear for a 90+ year old guitar with the most prominent "issue" being belt buckle scratches on the back. The black binding is very attractive, but a small 3-4" section is missing on the bottom of the back, below the trapeze tailpiece. The resonator has "Other Pats Pending - 1896484" engraved below the bridge. Very nice action on this one...super fun to play. Reverse stinger design on the back of the headstock is another unique detail. The Dobro decal is faded, giving it an extra vintage look. There is a hole drilled all the way through the heel (assuming for a strap), but is quite small and does not detract from the sound or look in my opinion. Free shipping in the lower 48!
